Incorporating Open Education Resources in Teaching and Learning
Open Education Resources, or OERs, are teaching, learning, and research materials in any medium that reside in the public domain or have been released under an open license that permits their free use and re-purposing by others. Incorporating OERs into courses en lieu of textbooks can greatly reduce costs for students and thereby contribute to their retention, persistence, and eventual graduation.
